3.9.1.6. Additional Functions
3.9.1.6.1. Undo
To undo your most recent edit, click the Undo Button (the blue arrow curving to the left). If there is no action on your page that can be undone, this button will not be active.
3.9.1.6.2. Redo
To redo what you have just undone....click the Redo Button (the blue arrow curving to the right). If there is no action on your page that can be redone, this button will not be active.
3.9.1.6.3. Clear Formatting
The Clear Formatting button (the furthest to the left of the four buttons shown above) allows you to remove formatting from selected text. To do so, highlight the text from which you wish to remove all formatting, and click the Clear Formatting button
3.9.1.6.4. Show Invisible Items
The second button from the left of the four buttons shown above is a toggle button that allows you to make certain elements on your page visible or invisible. For example, you may have a table with no visible borders organizing certain information on a page. If you wish to see the table structure, you can toggle the table guidelines on by clicking this button.
3.9.1.6.5. Toggle Full Screen Editing
The third button from the left of the four buttons shown above is another toggle button. In this case, it allows you to switch between a full screen editing mode and the standard editing mode that uses a smaller editing area within the total screen view.
- To move to the full screen editing mode, click this botton.
- To return to the standard editing mode, click it again.
3.9.1.6.6. Toggle Advanced Toolbar
The last of these four buttons (the gold star on the right) allows you to toggle between the standard editing toolbar and the advanced editing toolbar which has a number of additional tools and functions.
