3.5.2 Viewing Site Logs

Bistro tracks a variety of internal activity messages. Many of these are related to software function and will typically be useful only to your website designer or someone who is familiar with software development. If there are any error or alarm messages recorded in any of the activity logs, a number will appear in the centre of the yellow and/or red blocks in the At-aGlance Website Health area of your homepage.

You can access and view your website logs in three different ways

1. By clicking directly on the yellow or red block on your homepage

2. From the Administrative Options screen (accessed through the admin icon ), you can view your website logs in more detail than is provided on your homepage. Just click the link called View your Website Logs on the Adminstrative Options screen.

3. If you are a Super Admin user, you can also access (and manage) your site logs through the System Setup area of your site (click on the system setup icon on your main menu toolbar - note: this icon will not appear in the toolbar if you do not have Super Admin privileges)

When you are finished reviewing the log(s), click Return to the logs centre at the bottom left of the screen, and then Return to Administrative Options (also at the bottom left) to return to the Administrative Options screen.
