Creating a Page of Links
Many website owners like to have a page of links as a resource or a reference for their site visitors. The simplest way to do that is by breaking it down into the following steps.
- Create a new page called Links (for more information about adding pages to your site, review Section 3.8. Adding and Deleting Pages)
- On that new page, type in the URLS (or copy and paste them) for the websites or pages you want to link to.
- Note: the editor does not create hotlinks automatically, so you will have to add the hotlink to each URL. (for more information about adding links, review Section 3.9.1.2. Adding and Removing Links).
- Select any options that apply to your page of links just as you would for any other page (eg. choose the submenu for the page, add a custom URL, or keywords and description as applicable)
- Save your new page.
- If you want your new page of links to be added to your menu structure, use the Menu Manager to add it. (for more information about adding a menu item, review Section 3.9.3. Managing Your Menu)
- If you want to access your page of links from another page on your site, do so by adding a link to the new page from one or more existing pages. (For more information about linking between pages on your site, review Section 3.9.5 Cross Linking the Pages on Your site)
