The following modules integrate automatically with an existing Bistro website. New modules are added regularly so check back often.

| Bistro* | Bistro is a website content management system with powerful built in features and dozens of modules that make it easy to add new functionality when you need it. The basic Bistro system comes with Page Manager, Menu Manager and URL Manager - everything you need to manage your content-rich website, including the ability to add, edit, and delete an unlimited number of pages. Built in features include WYSIWYG editing, file and image upload capabilities, and built-in search engine friendly features. |
| Articles Manager | The Articles Manager makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to manage a database of articles. An Article is any informational document that you would like to make available to site visitors as a useful reference or resource. Each article in your Articles Manager database includes the following elements: Author, Title, Body, Date Published (can be future dated for later publication). |
| Blog | The Blog module makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to manage a series of informal messages on their website as an additional channel of communication with site visitors. Each message entered into your Blog database may include the following elements: Date and Time, Title, Message Body (WYSIWYG editing), Posted By, Tags, Recommended Reading (checkbox), Mood, Music, Keywords, Description, Date Last Modified. Each comment in response to a Blog entry may include the following elements: Name, Email, Website, Comment |
| Contact Us Form | The Contact Us Form module allows website owners and administrators to automaticall insert and manage a page with a formatted Contact Us Form. The form can be configured with desired contact fields, and specified fields can be designated "required" for successful form submission. When sumitted, the form is forwarded to your identified contact. |
| Discussion Forum Bridge | The Discussion Forum Bridge allows site owners and administrators to integrate Simple Machines Forum, a full featured discussion forum application currently used by millions of discussion forum sites worldwide, into their Bistro website. |
| Events Manager Listing/Calendar |
The Events Manager allows site owners and administrators to easily manage a series of events and post them in a listing or calendar format on their site. Once events have been entered into the Events Manager, use Bistro automation features to display upcoming events at various locations on your site and know that they will update automatically. |
| Links Manager | The Links Manager makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to easily manage a database of links offered as sites of interest or references and resources for site visitors. Each link entered into your Links Manager database includes the following elements: URL (website address), Title, Description |
| Login Access System | With the Login Access System module, you can restrict access to specific site content by requiring a login with a password. It also allows you to easily manage the registration and monitor usage patterns of eligible visitors on a user-by-user basis. |
| Member Login System | Easily manage member profiles and logins or restrict access to content by requiring member login with a password. You can also monitor member access, enable member registration through your website, and allow for automatic or moderated membership confirmation. |
| Menu Manager* | The Menu Manager is built into the Bistro base license. It allows website owners and their administrators to add, modfy, and delete menu (and sub-menu items for themes that include sub-menus) from thier website quickly and easily. |
| News Manager | The News Manager makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to post and organize news items on their website for easy navigation and viewing by site visitors. News items are postings and updates that are time sensitive, but lack the formal structure of press releases. They may be as official as a company merger, or as informal as the upcoming company barbecue. Each news item in your News Manager database includes the following elements: Title, Date, News Entry, Summary*, Date Published * If a manual summary is not entered when a news item is creates, the News Manager will automatically generate a summary from the body of the news item. |
| Newsletter Manager | The Newsletter Manager offers an easy way for website owners and administrators to send newsletters to an existing list of email contacts, and to collect new contacts through their website. The module comes with a pre-designed newsletter subscription form that can be placed anywhere on your website, and the ability to display past newsletter issues in an archive. Future issues of your newsletter can be created and stored on your website until they are ready for distribution. |
| Online Store | The Online Store module allows website owners to easily offer products and services for sale on their website, and lets site visitors conveniently purchase those products and services online. Broadly configurable, this module will allow you to sell everything from fasteners to viewable video - with multiple image options built-in. The Online Store is fully integrated with PayPal on installation, and can be readily integrated into other payment gateways as required. |
| Page Manager* | The Page Manager is the core of the Bistro platform. This module is automatically integrated with all Bistro modules, automatically enabling new features at the individual page level as new modules are installed. With Page Manager, site owners and administrators can easily add, delete, and edit pages with full WYSIWYG capability. The built-in folder structure provides a familiar interface for organizing content rich websites. Users can easily add key words and descriptions as well as custom URLs to every page on their site. The Page Manager also features configurable autosave and version restore capabilities for peace of mind editing. |
| Password Protector | The Password Protector module makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to limit access to certain pages or areas of their website to only those visitors who know the password(s). Visitors do not have to register or set up a user account to access these protected areas of the site. Whether you have entire modules that you wish to password protect or one or two pages that require restricted access, the Password Protector make it as simple as checking a checkbox. Since it also easy to turn off password protection on a page, you can also use this feature to "group edit" a page before making it public on your site. |
| Product Catalog | The Product Catalog module allows site owners and administrators to manage an online catalogue for sites that display product without direct online selling. Allow site visitors to create a shopping list and submit a request for quote directly from the catalogue, display multiple images of your products, and organize products into as many categories as you need. |
| Profile Manager | The Profile Manager makes it easy for site owners and managers to manage and display profiles of members, products, guest speakers - anyone or anything that requires a title, description, image and link for more information - with minimal layout configuration. |
| Real Estate Listing Manager | The Real Estate Listing Manager allows website owners and administrators to easily manage a series of real estate listings with multiples images, detailed property descriptions and links to related information in a format that showcases key property features. |
| Searchable Data Base | The Searchable Database module makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to maintain a defined, searchable database of content. For example, this module would allow a database of contacts or a directory of organizations to be searched separately from the site-wide search, for more focused search results. |
| Simple Image Gallery | The Simple Image Gallery module makes it easy for site owners and administrators to display a selection of images (photos, graphics, examples, etc.) in a visually pleasing format, with minimal configuration. Each image in your Simple Image Gallery includes a Title and a Caption. |
| Sponsors Manager | The Sponsors Manager allows website owners and administrators to display a series of sponsor logos, configured to a size they determine, in a rotating slide show on various locations on their site. |
| Testimonials Manager | The Testimonials Manager makes it easy for website owners and their administrators to manage a database of client quotations and/or letters to be displayed on the website as endorsements of their products and/or services. Each item in the Testimonials Manager database may include the following elements: Testimonial Author, Author's Organization , Author's Title, Testimonial Title , Testimonial Body (WYSIWYG) , Date Posted |
| URL Manager* | The URL Manager is included with the Bistro base license and is integrated with the CMS platform and the Page Manager. This module automatically tracks custom URLs and other data within Bistro to support search engine friendly operation of your website. |
