3.9.5 Cross Linking the Pages on Your Site
Internal links on your website are a great way to improve the user experience for your visitors and they encourage people to read more pages on your site, increasing their engagement with your message.
In addtion, if the text you use when linking to other pages on your site include keywords, or the names of your products and/or services, these links can help your search engine rankings.
While you can always add links to other pages on your site by identifying the URL associated with the page you'd like to link to and using the Add a Hyperlink function on the editing toolbar.
To make it as easy as possible for you to cross link between the pages on your website Bistro automatically adds all new pages to the Insert a link: drop down list directly below the main editing window.
To add a link to any other page on your website...
- Highlight the text or image to which you would like to add the link
- Click on the Insert a link: drop down list
- Select the page you want to link to by clicking on it
- Click the [Insert Link] button to the right of the drop down list.
